Ban Right-to-Buy. Build more social housing. Ban individuals owning multiple properies. Give families first offer on a house. Introducer a Land Value Tax. Build on parts of the green belt. Quotas on holiday homes, premiums on owning them. Owning more than one property should be viewed as greedy. Invest in other assets. Housing first when addressing homelessness. Goverments should plan 10 years ahead. The Housing minister should be made an apolitical position. Shared database of all rogue landlords. Ban buy to let mortages. The list goes on... we need to fix housing ASAP.
