A Short History of London

This book took way too long to read, been quite busy and haven't had a chance to read properly. Good book full of interesting little facts from Londinium to modern London. Goes into a lot of details about planning, how London has been rebuilt a bunch of times. The first 1700 years are covered quite quickly and then the last 300 years makes up about 50% of the book, learnt somethings about Canary Wharf, the city, London architecture choices etc. He does like a moan though, slags out anyone that tries to build something new in London... and really doesn't like Tony Blair lol
