Light of the Stars: Alien Worlds and the Fate of the Earth

The Drake Equation! The atmosphere! Alien life! Venus and Mars landers! A recap of the history of our journey in space so far as the human race. Made me think about the complexities of the universe and how we're definitely not alone in the universe. If we are alone in the univerise (as there always has to be a first species that survives), is that an even scarier thought than life on other planets?
