I finally got round to reading 1984. I'd heard the term 'Orwellian' for years, know that it was related to dystopian totalitarian states and now I can finally use it not feeling like a fraud. The term gets thrown around a lot now because of the time we live in, constantly connected via devices that listen to us, track our every movement and use that information to and sell us adverts.

It's important to think for yourself.
